It has started raining a lot, but so far the wind is normal for rain.  It sounds great on my metal roof!  I don't work today because of the storm.  Scoobydoo  will love that.  He hates storms, and he really does not like me leaving anyhow.  I am getting a little sleepy.  I have filled up water jugs in case, but I really hope there was no need.  Right now it seems there is not.  I will come back later and post if there is change.

Well I am happy to report that the weather so far is really just a nice rainy day.  No high winds to speak of.  I let Scoobydoo go out to do his business, and the toad took off after two young deer that visit my hollow each day to eat.  I really do not like him messing with them.  Love to see them, and it adds to the peace of my space for nature to feel safe to graze.  Oh well not today, but maybe tonight they will come back.  Silly toad

I am up a little early this morning.  Was out cutting grass Sunday and got a mosquito bite on my left shoulder, and it is really disturbing me!  It is quite outside (5:26am) and I have turned the hot water heater on so I can do my dishes.  Don't know if I will have a chance or electricity to do it tomorrow.  The hospital had a meeting yesterday and decided that we would have a normal day today.  So it should be busy in anticipation of the storm.  They have cut the staff for Wednesday to two in the morning, two in the afternoon, and  regular two at night.  That is less then half staff.  I did not want to use my PTO time for this.  Go figure.  My daughter Christina is so looking forward to Thanksgiving Holiday!  I am too!  It has been a long time since I have been home to see my family it seems.  I have been blessed to have my brother and his wife here for visits!  I was just thinking about them and going home.  It is something I want to do really bad.  Well I am going to try and grab a nap before it gets daylight.  I am just not really a morning person! I  have taken the umbrella down off the deck  so it won't blow away.  Dishes are done, and I am talking to my daughter in law. 
 I am trying out Boost Mobile.  I am thinking since I will cancel my contract with T-Mobile (terrible  service coverage outside of city and sometimes inside) I will try out Boost.  Just getting signed up has been a religion altering ordeal!  They do not have easily accessible operators period!  The time you have to spend going through the menu is extensive, and then you may get hung up on by the recorded person.  I am still not sure I have it all settled.  I will wait and see though.  Boy what an ordeal!  Lisa was on Skype while I was going through all of this, and she was entertained with the whole thing.  I think if it were her I might have been, but with me nope I was not a happy camper.
The wind is picking up and I can hear tree branches falling on the roof.  Not limbs but branches.  Hope that is all I get!
Weird as this sounds out side it is really quite now.  Kinda like the area is holding its breath for something.  Not the best of feelings when you know what is coming, but on a regular day it would be quite peaceful.

I have written this post earlier and it did not publish so I am trying again.  I have done all I can at the moment to get ready for this hurricane.  I am publishing my phone numbers now: Boost Phone: 601-324-6543, T-Mobile: 601-307-7989 and Work: 601-288-4363.  I don't know if I will be kept at the hospital, but I am taking my lap top so I will have skype and can post a blog.   We shall keep up as best we can.  Please don't worry and I will get in touch with you all as soon as this is over.  Love you all!

To let you know I am logged in at the hospital so I know I can!  I will try to call on Skype and be sure it works. Yep it works at the moment.  Not sure what will happen when the storm hits  I have everything I need in case though I think.

I am home and the weather is muggy, but not windy nor rainy.  I hope this is all a tado about nothing!  They have cancelled all surgeries for Wednesday except emergencies.  The hospital has gone to extraordinary lengths to be prepared for this type of weather.  I feel we will be fine!

Ok I admit it, I am just getting to old to stay outside and cut grass for any length of time.  I did get the grass cut around the Camphor tree so Jack won't cut it down with the bushog when he cuts.  I am in the house in front of the Air Conditioner and still am burning up.  So sad!
I just talked to Lisa she has Taylor and Jamie at the Hair Stylist getting Taylors hair cut and Jamies Straightened.  Jamie is going out to enjoy an afternoon with her friends at the movies, and out to eat. 
I think I am going to clean up  and rest for a while.  I am pooped!

Was going to cut grass today, but it really looks like rain.  We are suppose to have rain, and that and an electric lawn mower don't mix.  I have talked to my brother Charles today, and my son Andrew and his wife Lisa.  Christina called this morning, and she is really busy today.  So I am watching Alpha on Netflix.  Not an exciting day, but a really relaxing day.  Only have to do what I want when I want. 
Blackie one of the cats has been kicked again.  He he has a bad spot on his shoulder that will take time to heal.  Other then that he seems fine.  I have three new visitors on my land.  They appear to be teen agers.  Two are Does and One is a Buck.  Small antlers, but definitely antlers.  They drive Scoobydoo crazy, and he barks his head off.  Funny dog.
Well going back to watch Alpha Series.  Talk another day.

Today I have started my first blog.  I have called and talked to my son, and reminded Vernell to keep an eye on the post.  Not very exciting, but that is just the beginning of my day.  Oh yes, I have started my first blog, did I mention that Ha Ha.
Zack my grandson is getting ready to start back to school so Andy and Lisa are going there to get him set up.  She has been busy all week getting the girls set up for school.  Casey my youngest grand daughter starts her first year of school Monday and that is exciting.   Since my days are not always this exciting I may not write each day, but I am going to try.
