I have had a full quite busy day.  I swept the deck off and it was so pretty outside.  Not to hot not to cold.  Then I came back into the house and started to work on my Genealogy.  No sense taking chances on on getting sick by picking up something outside.  I have been really busy with Ancestry though and have made quite a bit of headway.  Proud of myself if I do say so.  Sometimes I just don't get to it, and then some days I just barrel on ahead.  I am sure every one is that way though, we put off and put off then rush to do what should have been done earlier. 
I am looking forward to seeing my family in Texas this coming week-end!  It has been a while and I have missed them.  I do on occasion get to interact with them on skype, but that is not the same.
Well back to the work, just wanted to check in.

Things are getting more controlled now, and I am feeling more myself.  Still really sore and exhausted.  Do not want that again.  I was laying in bed this morning, and my dog started barking as he usually does when he spots something that gets him excited (visitors of any kind).  I slowly moved into the living room and my trio of deer were grazing on my side lawn.  I sat down and watched for a while it was really nice to see one of them so relaxed in my yard.  The male and other female were not so relaxed and after a bit they took off and that spooked my other female and she ran off.  I was pretty tired by then and went back to bed.  I hope this afternoon I can eat something solid and tasty.  We shall see.  Have a great day.

I missed yesterday.  I got the stomach bug I think. Fine in the morning, and by late afternoon it all came apart.  Stayed in powder room major portion of afternoon and night.  Felling better today, but sore and will be glad when all better.  Hungry but afraid to eat.  We shall see.  Just wanted to check in.   Going back to bed.

I was not sure if I would be home in time to write today.  We have been short of people, and it go crazy tonight because the power in a strange way went down. By strange way I mean it sound like an engine stalling out and then everything went dark.  It was not dark long because we have a great back up system, but when the power does off it affects a lot of stuff, and one of those things is the elevators.  We use those a lot to transport items we sterilize.  Anyhow, it was a mess and I stayed longer then was scheduled.  I am tired, and ready for some rest.  Did not eat supper just kept working through, so I made a sandwich when I got home, and am eating that now.  Don't like eating before I go to bed, but I am really hungry and will not sleep it I don't eat I am pretty sure.  I hope every one is well, and having a great week.  Gotta go,
I have to get my washing started too.  I need my scrubs washed and they won't do that by themselves.  Mores the pity. Night

Just got home from work, and it was a day I can tell ya.  I have never worked so hard for 111% productivity.  Oh well, I am grateful to have a job ya know. 
Got some thing done today before I went to work though.  I had to take my car to the shop because the underside protector was falling off, and it made a lot of racket.  Danny my mechanic put it back on for me, and added air to my tire.  Didn't know I needed that, because I just got the tires in August.  I am going Saturday to get my oil changed and a regular check up.  I go the 15 of Sept to Texas to see Andy and his family, and I do not want to break down on the way there or back!
My dog showed his displeasure at me by making a mess in the bathroom.  He really does not like me to go to work, but does not always show it this way.  I get really ticked at him when he does, and he knows it.  Short memory though.
It is raining again, and so hot an muggy you almost cannot breath the air.  
Casey my little one,  is suffering separation issues.  She misses her mother it is the first week of school and she cries.  I can remember that.  I know that was a long time ago, but I can remember wishing I was home with my mom instead of playing house in my kindergarten class room.  I can remember my first grade class and my sixth grade class to.  Funny how I can remember things like that, and cannot always remember yesterday stuff.

I was one of the chosen few to work today so I would not have to use my PTO time.  Wish - well anyhow I get to work today.  Not tonight, but from 10am  to 6:30pm.  It will be kinda like a Saturday, but not ya know.  Christine goes home today sometime while I am gone.  I love having her around! 
I wonder how my brother and his family are doing with the rain?  Expensive stuff to pay for insurance and then them not pay a thing.  It is like paying people all the time to sit around and do nothing, but take your money.  Very disturbing!

Today I have been working on Genealogy.  I have found some really cool stuff from Andy's fathers side of the family.  I found out that Andy and Christina's grandmother was in the U.S. World War II Cadet Nursing Corp and she was withdrawn because she got married ( At that time they did not allow married women in a nursing career go figure).  Did not know that, I did not know that his grandfather was a war hero and he is giving his shadowbox (Sandra has been taking care of that) that has all of his medals and the story behind them to my son Andrew, and that is a big honor.  It pleases me that Wilson would do that.  Now I am giving my grandmothers family bible to my daughter and that is her great grandmother Hedrick-Short.  So now they both have a piece of history cool.
I am craving something right now, and I don't know what it is.  Pizza, banana split, or what?  Don't know and it drives me crazy.  Did you ever have that kinda need? Well I guess we all have at one time or another.  I hope I am not the only one.
Lisa is working on the boat with her friends trying to get the reverse going and the running lights on the trailer working.  Then it will be in service according to Texas law.  They will have a blast I know cause we used to have one about like that.  It was fun! Andy has gone to and IT convention in Dallas for the day.  I know he is in IT heaven.
Well I have decided it is going to be Pizza.  It will be half pepperoni with  green olives and half hamburger with pineapple. The first half is Christina's and the second half is of course mine.  Yum been a while since I have had Pizza.

I have been working very hard to get my pictures organized.  They are all over the place.  Christina helped me fix lunch today.  We made a mess of the kitchen, but the food was really good.  We cooked chicken with olive oil and then Christina cut up vegetables, and we had three different ways of cooking the chicken and vegetables together.  One was in an cast iron skillet, and they other was on in salad master pan and a presto pride pan.  I inherited the presto pride from my mom, and bought new handles and knobs to spiff them up.   They were bought a long time ago.  I think I was nine years old when my father got into that.  Anyhow, one pan had onions and bell peppers green, the other had zucchini with it, and the other had red bell peppers and zucchini.  They were really good, and can be used this week for meals at work.  It was nice anyhow.  Now back to my pictures.  I have found them everywhere like I said, and I am trying to organize them so they will be easy to get to.  I did not realize that I had so may.  A lot of them were duplications and I have had to sort through them too.
It is hot and muggy here.  I mean you feel like you are sweating, but really the moisture is so heavy it just makes you feel that way. 
I talked to my brother Charles today, and by the way it is his birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLES! Anyhow, they have not had rain like in forever.  Well our hurricane fixed that, but the side affect was their basement got flooded, and their new carpet is now having to be dried out and  saved.  I am sorry Charlie and Rita this is the second time and a lot of work goes into making that right.  Good luck!

I have had the worst luck in getting a cell phone that will work in my home.  I live in a hollow, and it just does not give me service.  I tried boost (and I have to tell you that company is the most difficult company to contact, and then well needless to say I am not thrilled with it) and since I have it started am sending that phone to my sister so she will have a phone that works for her.  I have just gotten C-spire to try for 30 days.  I am afraid it may not work either.  I will try tomorrow at a time when I can call to ask questions.  All of this, because I want to have a cell phone, for my home and travel.  Then I can close down my home phone and that will reduce my bill and the redundancy of having so many phones.
I am a little frustrated over work tonight.  Why is it a person that just does not work -never mind it is something I will have to work through until I retire.  The weather has settled down, and we are fine!
Christina has come home this week-end and I am glad.  I love it when my family comes! She loves having her cat and dog around her.  They live here, because she cannot have pets at her apartment.  So when she comes she really loves them being near.  She lives about two hours from here so I am blessed with being able to see her about every two weeks usually. 
I am really tired and think I will go to bed. Hope anyone reading this has had a great day!  Talk to morrow.

Today  it is still raining.  I now have a stream running thru the dry creek bed.  It is at the base of the hill at the side of my home.  I love the stream, and the sound it makes rushing thru to the other road.  We have not had the wind that they have further south.  Christina has lost power at the local level in Jackson, but I think that is all that is going on there besides rain.  I feel for the families in Louisiana.  They have gone through so much already and now this again.  I know some people get tired of hearing about Katrina, but is was an experience unparallelled by us in the South and some are still recovering from that. 
I have to work today so getting up my hill is still ahead for me.  I am pretty sure I will be fine but we shall see.  My drive drains pretty quickly and I don't usually have any trouble.  The bigger the car the more that story changes though you can ask Lisa about that.
Well I am going to eat breakfast so I will sign off for now.
The rain got really violent tonight, but there was not real bad winds.  I think we are going to be ok.  I brought my bag overnight back home from work because I don't think I will need it anymore.  I am really sorry the people in New Orleans' are suffering so!
